City Museum Melbourne

City Museum at Old Treasury opened its doors in September 2005 and since that time has been blessed by counting among its supporters Helen McLean and Limelight Design Studio.

Helen has been instrumental in designing and launching City Museum’s very successful website. This was a complex task that involved making visual sense of the many aspects of the Museum, including exhibitions, events, education, retail and the building’s immense history. We are thrilled with Helen’s work on the website, and the professional look of the final product.

Helen has also been charged with the responsibility of our bi-monthly museum ‘eNewsletters’. This is posted in email format to our large subscriber base, and never fails to attract acclaim for its dynamic design and layout.

Helen also created the website for the Gold Treasury Museum, as the City Museum was previously known. This website provided, as does today’s, the first port of call for many of our visitors – local and international – and school and tour groups. Helen’s websites have been instrumental in our building a regular visitor base, and a reputation as a technologically savvy institution.

Helen has been a joy to work with throughout. She has patiently taken on board all of our needs, and come back to us with a vibrant and creative end product.
